About Us
The Fargo Parks Sports Center is a destination indoor sporting, event and activity facility that opened in June 2024. This longtime vision was achieved due to the partnered efforts of the Fargo Park District, Sanford Health, and many more community partners.
The goal when developing the Fargo Parks Sports Center was to address a critically unmet community need for indoor recreation facilities to serve Fargo and the surrounding region. Looking to learn more? We’d be happy to connect!
About Our Indoor Recreational Facility
Fargo’s newest sports & recreational facility is situated on 123-acres in the quickly budding area between 52nd Avenue South and 64th Avenue South in South Fargo. Though we are still working on the second phase of this building (which opens January 2025), some of the main features our visitors can enjoy include:
Courts
With 4 hardwood courts and 4 more coming in 2025, our facility is perfect for hosting your next basketball or volleyball event.
Turf Field
Bring your bats & gloves or your soccer balls to the Fargo Parks Sports Center and take advantage of our turf field.
Indoor Track
We are happy to offer a 350-meter, elevated, indoor walking track for our guests to use - esp. in the cold months.
Concessions
Our concession stands offer a variety of meal, snack, and non-alcoholic beverage options for every diet and taste palette to enjoy.
Event Spaces
Ain’t no party like a Fargo Parks Sports Center party. Learn about the spaces you can rent for work or play (or both).
Coming Soon
Phase II (set to complete in early 2025) opens the door to an indoor playground, ice rinks, pickleball, additional hardwood courts and more.
Why a Sports Center in South Fargo?
Though the word “Sports” is in the title of this facility, the vision is for this complex to benefit the entire Fargo-Moorhead community, with a reach well beyond just the sports community.

Timelines & Phases
OF THE FARGO PARKS SPORTS CENTER
This multi-year project has involved many helping hands, community supporters, and dedicated staff members to help manage. Since 2021 when the project was first announced, we have been anticipating the grand opening of Phase I of this project. Today, we diligently work through Phase II.
Phase I: Opened June 2024
This phase included the opening of the turf field, 4 hardwood courts, an indoor walking track, multi-purpose community spaces, Sanford Sports, Fargo Park District’s staff offices, and food and beverage services.
Phase II: Opening January 2025
Coming soon, you can enjoy the opening of our remaining amenities, including:
- 4 additional hardwood courts
- 2 sheets of ice
- 6 pickleball courts
- Indoor playground with 4 party rooms
- Additional community meeting spaces.
