Indoor Track
Staying active in the winter? Difficult. When using our indoor walking track? A lot less difficult. Come visit our center and take a walk around the 350-meter track in our turf fieldhouse. Not only will you enjoy great exercise in a weather-controlled environment – you might also be able to catch a game on the turf field below!
About Our Indoor Track
The turf fieldhouse at the Fargo Parks Sports Center will be home to a variety of baseball, soccer, and additional youth sports practices and tournaments. It will also be home to an elevated track that offers an experience unlike any other in the Fargo-Moorhead area! We even built oversized lanes to accommodate strollers! Here are some of the highlights:
Free track for the general public
Come visit the Fargo Parks Sports Center and take a stroll around the elevated track for no cost at all – unless you buy concessions, but that’s on you.
350-meter length of walking track
Each loop around the track is 350 meters. You’ll only have to do about 4 and a half of those loops to have walked a full mile. Just don't forget to check which direction to walk. It changes daily!

Entertain the little ones with our seasonal StoryWalk™. Stories are provided by the Fargo Public Library and have been selected to keep you moving!
Indoor Track in Fargo, ND
Come escape the fluctuating temperature outside by going for a casual stroll (or brisk walk or run if you are really motivated) on our 350-meter indoor track. This track goes around the turf fieldhouse at the Fargo Parks Sports Center in South Fargo.
It can be the perfect location for your personal workout, or to host a group walkathon or similar event. See some photos of the views from our elevated track.
